In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 arcade racing applications on the iOS platform in Nigeria exhibited diverse performance trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each of these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Asphalt Legends Unite from Gameloft had a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $113 in the last week of September. Downloads saw significant variability, reaching a high of approximately 2.4K in late July. Active users also showed an upward trend, peaking at around 9.5K in the final week of the quarter.

Need for Speed No Limits by Electronic Arts demonstrated a notable increase in revenue, especially in early August when it surged to around $334. Weekly downloads remained fairly stable, ranging between 387 to 604. Active user numbers showed a slight increase, peaking at 2.5K in late August.

Pocket Champs PVP Racing Games from MADBOX experienced a steady increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $106 in early September. Downloads, however, showed a downward trend, falling from 499 in early July to around 119 by the end of September. Active user numbers also declined, starting at 800 in early July and dropping to 325 by the end of the quarter.

Need for Speed™ Most Wanted, another title from Electronic Arts, had relatively stable revenue, reaching a peak of $51 in late August. However, its downloads were minimal, with only a few recorded in August and September.

Asphalt 8: Airborne also by Gameloft saw consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak of $37 in mid-August. Downloads were steady, with a slight peak at 562 in late July. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.8K to 2K throughout the quarter.
